Treatment of DIABETES MELLITUS type 1 and 2
Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which the body is unable to metabolize carbohydrates properly. In diabetes, the pancreas fails to produce sufficient insulin, insulin or effective as it is a hormone that controls the level of carbohydrates from the blood. The result is hyperglycemia, meaning excess sugar in the blood. Diabetes, most often develops in two basic models. In type I diabetes, the insulin-secreting pancreatic cells what are damaged and thus appear insufficient insulin. In type II diabetes, which is the most common, insulin is produced in normal amounts but its use in orgasnismului cells is impossible, such as in the case of a high-fat diet. As an adjunct in the treatment of diabetes, the following are recommended:-sources of chlorophyll: seaweed, spirulina, chlorella, alfalfa sprouts, soy, neem; -sources of Omega 3 and gamma linoleic acid: sesame seeds, flax and chia, oily fish, shellfish, tofu, hummus, cauliflower; avoid animal fats and refined vegetable; -products animal origin: clams, fish, dairy goat, lamb, beef pancreas, p (for those with deficient), beef or poultry, chicken or goose kidney; are animals of Granges, rather than from farms; – fruits and vegetables: sheaths of beans, carrot, radish, soybean, spinach, asparagus, avocados, pears, plums, lemons, limes, grapefruit, cranberry, mulberry; avoid fruits with an increased content of sugars (watermelon, grape, Plum, sucate); – whole grains: millet, oats, rice, sweetcorn, wheat; – substitutes: tea/liquorice powder, stevia extract, honey in very small amounts; – spices: cinnamon, clove, garlic, oregano, turmeric, chilli.
